There is an American corportation currently holds the US trademark for kindermusik, they’re using this, to publicise their own products and services, which essentially are involved in the rewriting of history. For those of you who don’t know kindermusik is a word in common use in germany used mainly to describe a set of teaching techniques to help children learn rhythm and pitch.
This American corporation is now pursuing legal action or at least threatening it against anyone and everyone who puts this word to use. Their intention is obviously to monopolise the music teaching market for children. So they’re applying for a trademark which could end up reducing the access children have to these kinds of teaching methods.
This is yet another example of trademarks going mad, American corporations trying to push out the little guy and dominate wherever they see fit. The UK needs to say no to this trademark as it will effect children up and down the country.
